Despite decades of progress, gender gaps in education, work, leadership, health, and safety persist across EU and OECD countries. The report calls for stronger gender mainstreaming, better data, and coordinated policies that cut across silos—linking areas like childcare, labor policy, healthcare, and violence prevention. It also emphasizes the need to address new challenges shaped by digital transformation, demographic shifts, and climate change. Achieving meaningful progress will require governments, civil society, and the private sector to work together on integrated, forward-looking strategies.
