The Demographic Outlook: 2023-2053
The forecasts made by the CBO in this study show that the population of the United States would expand from 336 million people in 2023 to 373 million people in 2053. Starting in 2042, net immigration, which has become an increasingly important factor in driving population expansion, will account for all the population growth.
