You don’t need an HR person to define the term “toxic behavior.” We all know what it means and how it makes us feel. People who work in a toxic environment often struggle to stay motivated or deliver quality work.

In some cases, people will leave a job they otherwise love just to get away from the toxicity. Or they’ll stick around but cease to love it. Either way, it’s bad for the employee and bad for the agency. There’s got to be a better way.
