Executive Order 14432 directs the Federal Government to establish America.gov as a unified, secure digital entry point for accessing federal information and services. The platform is intended to reduce the need for individuals to navigate numerous agency websites, repeatedly provide the same information, or understand complex government terminology. America.gov will allow users to communicate in plain language, receive information, authenticate securely, and, where authorized and technically available, complete federal transactions.
The order establishes government-wide standards for simplicity, accessibility, interoperability, security, reliability, and digital design while preserving individual agencies’ authority and control over their records and systems. It requires integration with Login.gov and directs agencies to identify qualifying high-volume services and make existing APIs, dashboards, and digital forms accessible through the America.gov platform. The initiative also emphasizes data minimization, secure authentication, privacy protections, and transparent use of super intelligence.
