OMB Memorandum: Temporary Pause of Agency Grant, Loan, and Other Financial Assistance Programs

Federal agencies are being directed to temporarily pause grant, loan, and financial assistance programs to ensure alignment with new administration priorities. Agencies must assess their financial assistance programs, identify those affected by recent executive orders, and submit detailed reports to the Office of Management and Budget. While this pause is in effect, exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis to ensure compliance with legal requirements and administrative obligations.
