It’s in headlines everywhere: the cloud. Many agencies, large and small, are migrating workflows and email systems to the cloud, and the federal government has encouraged them to do so with mandates, memoranda and even cash incentives. All of the flashy press makes moving to the cloud seem simple, but as agencies know, there’s a lot more that goes on behind the scenes. Agencies have to be mindful of their high-value assets and ensure that the cloud will offer them appropriate security, as mandated by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), which establishes baseline security standards for agencies’ cloud technology. Having this support frees employees up to focus on higher-priority projects that directly impact customer experience (CX).
