Executive Order 14425: Supporting America’s Ranchers

E.O. 14425 directs federal agencies to review regulations, guidance, and policies affecting American ranchers and recommend actions to improve financial viability and market access. The order addresses livestock losses from gray and Mexican wolf predation, directs consideration of changes to compensation and predator-removal policies, and calls for a review of mandatory country-of-origin labeling authorities for beef. It also directs agencies to consider how food production and supply measures can benefit consumers through lower prices.
