Executive Order 14310: Further Extending the TikTok Enforcement Delay

The enforcement delay on TikTok has been extended once again, now through September 17, 2025. This pause means the Department of Justice will not penalize companies for distributing or maintaining TikTok or similar foreign adversary-controlled apps during this time. The order also bars states and private entities from stepping in to enforce the Act, reinforcing the Executive Branch’s sole authority on the matter. It reflects the complex intersection of national security, tech policy, and federal enforcement power.
