U.S. Military Case Study Weapons & Gear Tracking

A high profile U.S. Military Base implemented the ARMS Armory Management System to track the weapons and gear issued to the security personnel responsible for the base’s security. ARMS utilizes radio waves to track the weapons and gear as they are issued and returned during shift changes.

The U.S. Military system-wide utilizes antiquated, manual tracking systems using a clipboard and pen. No weapons or gear tracking data was saved to a computer system. Required manual look-ups of officer weapons  certifications and manual armory inventories, wasting valuable staff time.
