U.S. Forest Carbon Data: In Brief

Congressional debates over climate policy have often included ideas for optimizing carbon sequestration in forests as a potential mitigation strategy for global warming. To facilitate those debates, this report provides data on the amount of carbon that is stored in and flows through U.S. forests.
