Restoring America’s Fighting Force

The Department of Defense is sharpening its focus on meritocracy and operational excellence with the new “Restoring America’s Fighting Force” initiative. This directive eliminates diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, emphasizing instead a color-blind, merit-based system for promotions, assignments, and leadership roles. A newly established Task Force will oversee the dismantling of DEI offices and related initiatives, ensuring that all decisions prioritize mission readiness and national security. The goal: to maintain the most lethal and unified fighting force, free from divisive ideologies and firmly rooted in the values of accountability and performance.
