Michigan Secure Wins ‘State IT Innovation of the Year’ Award For 2021

Zimperium is proud to partner with Brom Stibitz and Laura Clark on the Michigan Secure initiative. Michigan Secure was awarded the State IT Innovation of the Year award for 2021. The Michigan Secure mobile security app is the first mobile security tool to be made available for free to an entire state.

In February 2021, the Michigan Dept of Technology, Management and Budget launched the new Michigan Secure app, that provides alerts for suspicious activity and threats on mobile devices. The app warns users if the WiFi they are connecting to could be compromised, scans other mobile apps for threats along with known threat indicators.
