Executive Order 14429: Reinvigorating America’s Hunting Heritage

E.O. 14429 directs federal agencies to expand hunting, fishing, shooting, and other recreational access to federally managed lands while strengthening wildlife conservation and state-federal coordination. The order calls for expanded access infrastructure, improvements to difficult-to-access federal lands and waters, assistive technology for trails and hunting locations, and changes to certain federal recreation policies. It also supports hunter education programs, youth and veteran participation, wildlife habitat and game population management, and state-based wild game donation programs.
