E.O. 14423 establishes the Presidential Commission on the United States Space Academy to develop recommendations for creating a NASA-led Federal academy focused on technical education, leadership development, public service, and the space workforce. The proposed academy would prepare astronauts, scientists, engineers, operators, civil servants, warfighters, and other professionals to advance U.S. leadership and national interests in space.
