Executive Order 14413: Ushering in the Next Frontier of Quantum Innovation

Executive Order 14413 outlines a whole-of-government strategy for advancing U.S. quantum leadership. The order directs federal agencies to accelerate research, commercialization, workforce development, manufacturing, quantum sensing, networking, supply chain resilience and national security applications. It establishes the QC-ADDS initiative to develop advanced quantum computing capabilities, strengthens domestic quantum manufacturing, expands international partnerships with trusted allies, protects sensitive technologies, and prepares the federal workforce for the growing quantum economy while ensuring the United States maintains a competitive advantage in quantum innovation.
