Department of the Air Force Posture Statement Fiscal Year 2025

The President’s Fiscal Year 2025 budget request continues the Department of the Air Force’s (DAF) implementation of the 2022 National Defense Strategy, while striking alignment with the 2023 Fiscal Responsibility Act. The DAF remains focused on the Department of Defense’s mission to defend the U.S. homeland, safeguard and advance vital U.S national security interests, and meet growing threats to a stable and open international system, especially those posed by our pacing challenge, the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party.
