The Army’s stated transformation objective for the period of two to seven years, the time frame for defense budget planning, is delivering Army 2030. So, what is Army 2030, and how will we know when we have delivered it?

Army 2030 is a force optimized to win in large-scale combat in a multidomain operations environment. It is a realistic goal, based on a clear-eyed assessment of what the Army can accomplish within available resources; with technology, we are confident we can field by that time.
