The USAID Digital Health Position Paper (2024–2029) outlines a strategic vision to harness digital technologies for advancing global health and socio-economic development. Building on previous policies, the paper emphasizes six key practices to operationalize USAID’s digital health priorities, focusing on improving the digital maturity of partner countries’ health sectors.
Through strategic, sustainable, and locally supported investments, USAID aims to enhance integrated, equitable health services, powered by interoperable digital tools and high-quality data. This approach supports broader goals of fostering secure, inclusive, and rights-respecting digital ecosystems for long-term global health improvements.
