Understanding Rapid Re-housing

This interim report presents the findings from a set of qualitative interviews conducted in late 2018 and early 2019 with 30 people in various stages of receiving rapid re-housing (RRH) assistance: those who have been offered RRH but not yet secured a unit (“pre-RRH”), those currently supported by an RRH program (“RRH”), and those who have exited from RRH support (“postRRH”).

The interviews are part of an ongoing study that will continue to follow a subset of these study participants (the current RRH participants) over another year and describe how they fared after they no longer were receiving RRH rental assistance and case management.
