Summary of the Terrorism Threat to the U.S.

The United States remains in a perilous threat environment. A continuous and potentially lethal threat to the United States comes from individuals acting on their own or in small groups and being inspired by a wide variety of ideologies. There are several upcoming events that threat actors could use as an excuse to commit or justify violent acts. Public gatherings, government buildings and officials, the media, and anybody considered to hold opposing ideologies could be the targets of potential acts of violence.

This study analyzes the current danger landscape that exists in the United States.
