Securing Critical Infrastructure in the Age of AI

As AI capabilities continue to evolve, critical infrastructure (CI) operators are integrating these tools to enhance operations and security. However, AI adoption brings both benefits and new risks, including vulnerabilities that could expose systems to cyber-attacks. Recent executive orders have directed agencies to assess these risks and offer guidance on managing them. By learning from past experiences with network connectivity, CI operators can better navigate AI challenges and bolster defenses against both AI-related failures and malicious use.
