National Ocean Service Strategic Plan Fiscal Year 2024-2028

Climate change is rapidly transforming the ocean and coastal zones, putting economic sectors and population centers under increasing strain. This is exacerbating existing challenges for underserved and underrepresented communities already facing systemic inequities. The National Ocean Service (NOS) is playing a key role by offering essential data, products, and services that protect natural resources and support economic and climate resilience. NOS aims to strengthen national resilience in response to these growing environmental challenges.
