DeepZero Gun Detection Platform – Technology Report

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and its National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) hosted Urban OpEx 2022, a weeklong Operational Experimentation (OpEx) where first responders evaluated new and emerging technology solutions in realistic, urban settings throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

One of the seven technologies evaluated is DeepZero. Developed by ZeroEyes, DeepZero is an artificial intelligence computer vision technology that automatically detects and classifies weapons through integration with existing security cameras and associated video management systems.
