CDO Council Report to Congress

In accordance with the reporting requirement set by the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act of 2018 (Public Law No. 115-435), the Federal Chief Data Officers (CDO) Council is submitting its first report to Congress. The Council began meeting in January 2020. The Council’s first year has been focused on setting up its governance structure, building a CDO community and relationships with other intergovernmental councils and groups, sharing best practices/lessons learned, strategic planning, and supporting CDOs in their implementation of the Federal Data Strategy (FDS) Action Plans. This report highlights Council meetings, activities, accomplishments, and future plans.
